Join Energy Garden for an open volunteer day at Ladbroke Grove Secret Garden. It will be an afternoon of gardening, biodiversity, and community in one of West London’s hidden green spaces.
About this Event
Hidden just behind Ladbroke Grove station, the Secret Garden is a quiet woodland space being transformed into a vibrant community garden and sustainability hub.
Join Energy Garden for a special Grow Urban Festival open day and experience this unique space as it continues to evolve through community care, biodiversity, and creative collaboration.
Throughout the afternoon, you’re invited to drop in, explore the garden, and get involved in hands-on activities including:
🌱 Gardening and seasonal planting
🐝 Biodiversity and habitat care
🪵 Light maintenance and garden improvements
🤝 Meeting local volunteers and learning about the project
Join a drop-in volunteer session, spend time in the garden, and witness a space slowly unfolding into something generous, resilient, and alive.
This is a free, drop-in event, perfect for all ages. Bring your friends, family, or neighbours and get your hands in the soil for a great cause!
Practical Info
- Everyone is welcome, no experience needed.
- Drop in anytime between 12:00–19:00.
- All tools and materials are provided
- Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather.
- Children are welcome but must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
