You’re warmly invited to join us for "Give Peace a Chant" at Gordon Neighbourhood House on Friday, October 4, from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Experience a transformative evening of Kirtan featuring mantra music and meditation, enriched by beautiful ancient Vedic verses. This event is designed to welcome peace into our center and promote healing in our environment. Through repetitive chanting and musical vibrations, Kirtan enhances relaxation, boosts energy, and fosters a strong sense of community. Doors open at 6:50 pm, and tickets are available on Eventbrite, with priority seating for ticket holders. The event operates on a donation basis, supporting GNH programs.The evening will be kept simple, with hot tea available (please bring your own travel mug if you prefer) and a sweet treat served after the chanting. Although the event typically attracts an adult crowd, children who wish to participate are encouraged to join. A slide show will accompany the chanting, allowing you to sing along or simply enjoy the experience. Join us in celebrating life and spreading peace and positive energy within our hearts and community. We look forward to sharing this blissful experience with you!

-This event will take place in Room 1 at Gordon Neighbourhood House (GNH), located in the centre of the West End at 1019 Broughton Street. Capacity is limited to 45 people.
-The West End is served by the Robson #6 and Davie #5 bus routes. The closest bus stop is located 290 metres (3.5 blocks) from the event location.
-GNH is an accessible building, and all mobility devices and service/support animals are welcome.
-Snacks and light refreshments will be available.
-Gender neutral and single-stall bathrooms will be available.
-Masks are optional, and disposable masks and sanitizer will be available.
