Hot glass, cool class! Turn up the heat and let your creativity shine in this Hearts on Fire glass fusing session with Karen! In this 90 minute glass fusing workshop, you’ll design your very own heart suncatcher by arranging sparkling glass frit and stringers to create a piece just the way you want it! No two pieces will be alike, and that’s the beauty of it. If hearts aren't your thing, we have a variety of basic shapes to choose from. Your piece will include a bail for hanging unless you prefer otherwise. Finished piece is approximately 3.25" x 3.25". The cost of $50 covers all materials and firings.This workshop is open to makers of all ages! Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and partner seats are available for little artists working on a project with a parent. Multiple sessions available! Thursday, January 29th, 11am, 1:30 pm, and 4:00 pm.
Plan to return to STEAM in about a week to pick up your completed work, or choose to have it shipped for a small additional fee. Come play with fire (safely!) and leave with a glowing piece of art that’s uniquely yours.
