"Those Who Wait" is a collection of poetry from Justin Strawser, of Northumberland, written between 2005 and 2025. It is twenty years shaped by romance, heartbreak, grief, love, marriage, and parenthood. Justin Strawser is an award-winning journalist for The Daily Item. He graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Bloomsburg University, before it was known as the Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania. He spent six years as a staff writer at The News-Item in Shamokin and has been with The Daily Item since 2014. He currently covers Union County and specializes in the Hidden History series, an ongoing collection of stories exploring the past of the Susquehanna Valley. He lives in Northumberland County with his wife and son. When he’s not writing news articles or researching some dusty corner of yesteryear, he is trying to defeat his wife at mini-golf.
