Getting Real About Home Energy

Elevate your real estate career by enhancing your knowledge of energy efficient homes, allowing you to better serve your buyers and sellers.

Join us for this one-day course to learn the benefits of energy efficient homes. The program will outline best-practices on energy efficiency measures and their benefits, offer insight into current energy codes and incentive programs in Saskatchewan, and provide tools to help your clients buy and sell energy efficient homes.

Participants will receive a digital badge upon completion of the training and will be provided with a resource toolkit to apply to their professional practice.

Training Details:

This event will be a hybrid offering of Getting Real About Home Energy. Participants have the option to join this course in-person at the North Service Centre in Saskatoon, or online. The in-person course will take place at 1705 McKercher Drive and will include lunch and snacks. Participants that join online will be sent a link to join the session live after they register.

Facilitator Details:

The course will be provided by Airtight Engineering, a Saskatchewan-based consulting firm that specializes in energy efficient building design and building science training and has been involved in design of some of the most energy-efficient buildings in the province. Airtight Engineering’s instructors have facilitated building science and energy efficiency-related training sessions for diverse participants across Canada. They are passionate about building energy efficiency and sharing about how we can use building science to make homes that are more sustainable, resilient, affordable, comfortable, and healthy.
