Gertie x Process/Process Print Launch and Artist Talk with Leonardo Kaplan

Join Gertie at our hub, Thursday, September 10 for the launch of Gertie's inaugural print edition, by Leonardo Kaplan and produced in collaboration with Process/Process.

The release will be occasioned by a conversation between Kaplan, Gertie Director of Curatorial Affairs Gareth Kaye, and the artist's longstanding interlocutor the artist Ben Foch, Their conversation will explore the varying facets in the life of artists who have continued to work in Chicago across generations and exhibition models, tracing the symbiotic relationship between artist run projects, the commercial ecosystem, and institutional affiliation.

"Auspicious Arrival", an edition of 50, is borne out of Gertie's longstanding relationship with Process/Process, and our shared commitment to artists who live and work in Chicago.
