About this Event

This workshop will introduce participants to customizable visualization tools inspired by fandoms, games, stories, and personal interests. Participants will create and practice three resources - a Container, Protective Barrier, and Transformation/Power-Up - designed to support emotional regulation, boundaries, attention, and access to internal strengths.

Parents & Youth (14+)


Learning Objectives:

Participants will be able to:

  • Describe how visualization and resourcing can support emotional regulation, attention, boundaries, and accessing internal strengths.
  • Create and practice three personalized visualization resources.
  • Identify situations in which each resource may be useful and adapt these tools to fit individual needs and preferences.

Facilitator Bio

Anthony Magnia, AMFT, APCC (he/they), is a certified Geek Therapist who provides identity-affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-informed therapy to teens, adults, couples, and families. His work integrates Geek Therapy with evidence-based and culturally responsive approaches to help clients explore identity, relationships, emotional well-being, and the ways their interests and communities can support growth.
