Beginning tango dance classes with Diego and Alejandra
About this Event
Diego Lanau and Alejandra Saravia teach tango in Berkeley! This is a series of four classes, Wednesdays, starting September 30th. Tango is an improvisational dance based on connection and communication. Diego and Alejandra teach the dance techniques that make communication possible.
These classes are taught using the terms "leaders" and "followers," and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people.
Wednesdays: Sept 30th, Oct 7th, 14th, 21st
6:45 pm: check-in
7:00-8:00 pm beginning tango series
8:00-8:30 pm practica
The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions.

We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking, use the bell to enter through the service entrance, and go straight to get to the back courtyard. No parking in the Berkeley City Club lot.
