✨ An InvitationWhat dreams come alive when you listen to your inner young elder?

What might your younger self want you to remember about play, creativity, pleasure, and possibility?

And what becomes possible when healing makes room not only for grief, but for joy? 🌈

This month, you're warmly invited into a BIPOC Sacred Cacao Circle devoted to reconnecting with the imagination, wisdom, and dreaming of our inner child.

Together with ceremonial cacao, guided visualization, inner child dreamwork, and creative expression, we'll make space to soften, listen inward, imagine, and dream beyond the limitations of what we've been told is possible. ❤️‍🔥

🌊 This Month's Circle - 1 Imox • New Moon • Inner Child Dreamwork • Imaginative Play

Our October circle arrives on 1 Imox, opening a new thirteen-day cycle within the Mayan calendar. Imox carries the energy of cosmic waters - flow, emotion, imagination, and the mysterious creative potential from which something new can emerge. Alongside the New Moon, we'll work with this energy as an invitation into dreaming and new beginnings. 🌑🌊

Our guest facilitator, Munay Killari, will guide us through a dreamy visualization to (re)connect with our inner-child energy. Rooted in ancestral cosmology, Munay uses visualization as a practice of inner child dreamwork - making space to imagine beyond our present circumstances and reconnect with possibility. Through visualization and art-making, we'll invite our inner child into the dreaming, making room for color, curiosity, joy, pleasure, creativity, and play alongside whatever tenderness may arise.

Inner-child work can hold grief and unmet needs. This practice reminds us that our healing can hold joy, imagination, and possibility, too.

Your inner child doesn't only carry wounds. They carry dreams, too. 🌈

🍫 What Is This Circle?

Sacred Cacao Circles are devotional spaces for prayer, reflection, and reconnection. We gather with ceremonial cacao as an ancestral ally - tending grief and joy, listening inward, and remembering what is true.

Each circle is guided by Madaly Love and weaves cacao ritual with a unique monthly healing practice or collaboration, within a container shaped by consent, accessibility, trauma-informed care, and collective liberation.

Cacao is a sacred Mesoamerican plant medicine, prepared with prayer and offered as a bridge between body and spirit, ourselves and our ancestors, and who we've been and who we're becoming. 🌀

🌱 This Circle May Be For You If…

• you're curious about (re)connecting with your inner child

• you're longing for more joy, play, creativity, or pleasure in your healing

• you want to explore imagination and dreamwork as practices of liberation

• you're craving space to soften, reflect, and reconnect with your heart

• you want to be held in community without fixing, rushing, or performing

No experience with cacao, visualization, art, meditation, or inner-child work is needed.

Come as you are. All of you is welcome. 🤍

🎨 What We'll Do Together

• opening agreements + grounding

• prayer + altar

• ceremonial cacao ritual with Madaly

• inner-child (re)connection + dreamwork w/ Munay

• creative/art-making practice • optional journaling + community sharing 📓

• integration + closing

Everything is invitational. There is room for your yes and your no.

❤️‍🔥 Meet Madaly Love

Madaly Love (they/them) is a curanderx, ceremonial facilitator, certified recovery coach, and community healer devoted to ancestral remembrance, collective healing, and liberation-rooted care. Guided by the fierce love and soft strength passed down through their Chichimec, Nahua-Otomí, and Purépecha ancestors, Madaly creates compassionate spaces for people to reconnect with themselves, their inner wisdom, Spirit, and community.

Their healing practice weaves recovery and harm reduction, curanderismo, ceremonial cacao, Reiki and energy care, sound, mindfulness, somatic practices, and community ritual. Madaly is an ongoing student of curanderismo, Mayan cosmovision, and ancestral traditions connected to their own lineages, and continues to learn in relationship with elders, teachers, community, and la Madre Tierra.

Cacao has been a sacred ally in Madaly's own sobriety and spiritual path since 2017. As a student of Mayan elders from Guatemaya, Madaly approaches sharing cacao with reverence and humility - honoring the peoples, traditions, and living relationships through which this medicine has been carried. They have been sharing cacao circles at The Green Yogi since November 2023.

Across their work, Madaly centers consent, accessibility, curiosity, and each person's agency in their own healing. At the heart of their practice is a simple truth: We are our own best healer - and healing blossoms in community.

🌺 Meet Munay Killari

Munay Killari is a Qariwarmi (Two-Spirit), queer, auntie, educator, community-healer-herbalist, and child of the Peruvian diaspora. She is the co-founder of Andean Baby, a resource hub for folks of the Andean diaspora to reconnect to their roots holistically through the mind, body, and spirit. Munay Killari has over 18 years of experience bringing abolitionist teaching into elementary classrooms and co-creating healing-centered spaces for youth, educators, and community organizers. Their herbal medicine pulls on their Quechua lineage and is rooted in care for energetic and spiritual protection, ancestral and collective grief, and a radical practice of self-love and rest. Our spaces especially center QT2S+ folks of the Andean diaspora, specifically Afro-Indigenous Andean community and builds on a lineage of centering Two-spirit, queer, non-binary, and trans people as the healers, leaders, and wisdom/culture keepers of our ayllu (community).

🌿 A Note About the PracticeThis is an experiential community healing space, not therapy. Inner-child exploration can sometimes bring forward tender memories or emotions.

You are always invited to honor your own boundaries and capacity. Sharing is optional, practices are invitational, and you may pause, step away, or simply witness at any time.

We aren't gathering to fix our younger selves.

We're making space to listen to them, create with them, and perhaps dream alongside them again. 🌊🌈
