This month's gathering is a special collaboration weaving together ceremonial cacao, vocal activation, and immersive sacred geometry.

Held on the Mayan day 3 Tijax, this circle invites us to polish what has become dull and gently cut away what no longer serves. Like a crystal catching light after being cleaned, Tijax reminds us that healing isn't about becoming someone new - it's about revealing the clarity, courage, and brilliance that have always lived within us.

Together we'll explore voice as medicine, vibration as prayer, and beauty as a doorway into presence.

Whether your voice arrives as humming, singing, laughter, tears, whispers, silence, or a full-bodied roar...all of it belongs.

Sacred Cacao Circles are a devotional space for prayer, reflection, and reconnection. We gather with ceremonial cacao as an ancestral ally - tending grief and joy, releasing what no longer serves, and remembering what is true.

This is a prayer and practice that brings us back to our heart and wholeness 🌀

Each circle is guided by Madaly Love and weaves cacao ritual with a unique monthly collaboration or healing practice, all held within a container shaped by consent, accessibility, trauma-informed care, and collective liberation.

Cacao is a sacred Mesoamerican plant medicine - prepared with prayer and offered as a bridge:

• between heart of the sky and heart of the earth
• between mind and body
• between you and your ancestors
• between who you've been and who you're becoming

Madaly Love has been holding monthly cacao circles at The Green Yogi since 2023. They are a curanderx and recovery guide devoted to ancestral remembrance, collective healing, and liberation-rooted care. Madaly's mission is guided by the fierce love and soft strength passed down through their Chichimec, Nahua-Otomí, and Purépecha ancestors.

Cacao has been a sacred ally in their sobriety since 2017—supporting joy, truth, and deep spiritual reconnection. A student of Mayan elders from Guatemaya, Madaly shares this medicine with deep reverence, humility, and heart.

At the core of their work is a simple truth: We are our own best healer - and healing blossoms in community. 🌸

Sapito is a multidisciplinary artist, healing facilitator, and voice guide with roots in the lands of Cuscatlán. Once a shy, quiet child, she spent years waking up her voice - first in private through imitation and weird sounds, then allowing it to be heard in public. Expanded states of consciousness and listening to what innately moved through her transformed her singing voice and taught her to follow sound rather than control it. Today, she explores the voice as a gift that can affect reality, reconnect us to our power, and open pathways for healing our lives and our waters.

Working as a visual designer and art director in tech gave Sapito an intimate view of how easily we can criticize our unique expression into conformity. Her work asks what becomes possible when we stop containing ourselves and become curious about what wants to come through (safely). She brings this approach to voice workshops and one-on-one plática sessions for people moving through change, uncertainty, and creative blocks.

Sapito has explored overtone and throat singing with Emile Janse and the teachings of Stewart Pearce, and has recently studied curanderismo under Tereza Iñiguez-Flores. Her recorded character voices have been featured in two Children's Fairyland puppet productions. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University and lives and loves on unceded Ramaytush Ohlone forested land in San Francisco.

Burt Vera Cruz is a California-based graphic motion designer whose animated mandalas and sacred geometry explore the hidden patterns woven throughout life. Drawing inspiration from dreams, altered states, and the language of sacred geometry, his immersive visual landscapes invite us into wonder, presence, and deeper connection with the mystery of existence.

Throughout the evening, Burt's living mandalas will transform the space into an evolving ceremonial landscape - supporting meditation, vocal exploration, and the unfolding journey with color, movement, and light.
