Fused & Fabulous: Kiln-Fired Glass Dish Workshop

Step into the colorful world of kiln-fused glass and create your very own functional work of art! In this beginner-friendly workshop, students will design and craft either a 5" dragonfly-inspired glass dish or a 5" modern abstract glass dish, guided step-by-step through the entire process.

You’ll learn the basics of glass fusing, including how different types of fusible glass interact in the kiln, how layering and placement affect the final design, and how to safely handle glass materials. We’ll also cover design principles to help you create balanced, eye-catching compositions whether you choose a nature-inspired dragonfly theme or a freeform abstract style.

All supplies are included in this class—glass, tools, design materials, and kiln firing—so you can focus entirely on creativity. Your finished piece will be kiln-fired after class and ready for pickup once properly cooled and completed. No experience is necessary. Just bring your creativity and get ready to transform glass into a one-of-a-kind keepsake you can use or display with pride!
