Creative Spark Juniors - Ages 6 and Up

Upcoming Creative Spark Juniors sessions. Each session is 2 hours long and includes a fun art lesson or craft. Juniors classes are for kids 8 and above. For kids under 8, please reach out to me before signing them up to see if they are a good fit. I also offer Creative Spark Minis sessions every other Monday.
April 18th from 1-3pm - Dripping in the Rain art project - Thin down acrylic paints and make a drip scene painting. We will be making a 3d style umbrella and drawing in our person.
May 24th from 1-3pm- Flower Crown Canines (sample coming soon) - We will be making watercolor flowers, drawing and painting a dog and then applying the flowers as a crown.
June 10th from 11-1pm- Aquarium 1 point perspective project - We will explore 1 point perspective in this session while we draw an aquarium. Students can add any creatures and details they would like.
June 17th from 11-1pm- Hand Sewn Pizza Slice Plush - Students will use a pattern, cut and hand sew a felt pizza pillow. We will then add toppings.
June 24th from 11-1pm- Flower Crown Cats (sample coming soon)- Same as Flower crown canines but with cats
July 1st from 11-1pm- All About Me Self Portrait - Students will learn about self portraits, mixing skin tones with watercolor paint, drawing face details and creating a self portrait project that shows their interests.
July 15th from 11-1pm- Beach Umbrellas Aeiral View - Students will get to learn about shades by mixing and painting the ocean and beach. We will make 3d umbrellas and other details to add to our scene.
July 22nd from 11-1pm- 3d Graffiti Wall Art - Students will make their own 3D popsicle stick graffiti wall.
July 29th from 11-1pm- Under the Sea color value project - Students will explore different shades by mixing ocean colors. We will talk about depth of field and add silouettes of sea creatures.
August 5th from 11-1pm- Tiny Dioramas - Students will take small boxes and make their own scenes with different materials.
August 12th from 11-1pm- Hot Dogs & Cool Cats - Students will learn about warm and cool colors in this session. Students will be led through how to draw our cat and dog, and then will use paint markers to finish their projects.
August 19th from 11-1pm- Hand Sewn Pop Tart Plush - same as pizza pillow but with pop tarts
August 26th from 11-1pm- Name Monsters - Students will turn their names into a Name Monster (or a fun design!)
