HAT BURNING WORKSHOP WITH HWK ART
WHAT TO EXPECT
Join Helen for a hat making workshop where you choose a hat, some hat band accessories, and learn the art of hat pyrography. Using a wood burning tool, Helen will show you how to free-hand or transfer easy designs, add accessories to your hat and a create a one-of-a-kind statement piece that you will be proud to show off!
WEARABLE ART
Grab a friend and get ready to unleash your creativity in a fun, hands-on craft session - no skills needed! Pick your hat (size medium fits 56-58cm head circumference. If you need larger (58-60cm), please let us know in the comments or send us an email).
Snacks and water provided to attendees of class.

HELEN’S STORY
Helen is the artist and owner of HKW ART. She is Pennsylvania born and raised, retired federal civil servant turned creative entrepreneur. Helen has dabbled in all kinds of art mediums since childhood. Her love for “doodling” went from walls and paper, to people, to hats and other accessories. Helen specializes in Hat/Millinery Art to include Pyrography, Henna Body Art, Copper Wire Wrapping and Weaving Art. As a lifelong artist, speaker and trainer, merging creativity and education is the heart of everything she does. “A hat is a piece of magic!” is her motto.
