Framed Swimming Koi Art Workshop

Join artist Sue Woodger for a beautifully calming mixed media workshop where you will create your own 8 inch framed artwork featuring a graceful duo or trio of swimming koi.
Sue will provide pre cut koi shapes, which you will paint under her gentle guidance using watercolours and inks. You will explore blending, layering and adding delicate detail to bring your fish to life, focusing on flowing fins, expressive markings and movement.
You will then paint your own atmospheric background, building soft washes and subtle textures to suggest depth and water. Once dry, your painted koi will be carefully arranged and layered on top of your background, creating a lovely three dimensional effect and a real sense of movement across the piece. Sue will guide you through composition and placement so your final artwork feels balanced and harmonious.
Your finished piece will be mounted and framed, ready to take home and display. A mindful, creative session suitable for all abilities.
