What to expect:
Upon arrival we will set up your mat with braille points for alignment to your specific body's anatomy for guidance on your mat.
You will settle in and a brief explanation of yoga and it's benefits will begin the class.
We will introduce and review poses and alignment and then begin our class with guided breathwork and meditation. We will flow through our class, and end with a guided Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra means yoga sleep. It is healing and calming and a great tool for anxiety and rejuvenation. It is used in the armed forces for PTSD , and 30 minutes of this Nidra focused meditation is equivalent to 4-5 hours of Theta wave deep sleep.
