Presented by Imogen Burrows BVetMed CertAVP(EM) PgCertVPS CertAVP MRCVS, veterinary surgeon at Bell Equine. Imogen is British Equine Veterinary Association President and Chair of Ethics and Welfare. As an expert in equine reproduction, Imogen will help you to understand the physiological foaling process in a normal delivery as well as the possible complications.Rachel Godden-Dear will also provide insights from the perspective of a professional breeder. She will discuss different scenarios and learnings from her many years of experience successfully assisting mares in the safe delivery of foals.
This course is designed for anyone preparing to take BHS Stages 4 or 5. It is also suitable for owners with an interest in breeding. It is expected that attendees will have a minimum baseline knowledge equivalent to BHS Stage 3.
