12. júní mun indie/alternative hljómsveitin Flesh Machine halda útgáfutónleika í stóra sal Tónabíó til að fagna sinni fyrstu breiðskífu, The Fool. Hljómsveitin hefur spilað víða um Reykjavík seinustu ár og hafa fengið viðurkenningu sem mest spennandi lifandi tónlistarflutningur sem að hefur komið úr tónlistarsenu landsins undanfarin misseri.
Nú fagnar hljómsveitin útgáfu fyrstu plötu með stæl með viðbættu bandi til þess að gera kvöldið eftirminnilegra. Með þeim munu post-pönk hljómsveitin BKPM og dans pop dúóið Kusk og Óviti hita upp sviðið.

Platan The Fool kafar inn í líf einstaklings í blóma lífsins sem er sífellt sín eigin hindrun er hann reynir að feta sig áfram í lífinu. Endurteknar slæmar ákvarðanir og ábyrgðarleysi leiða til spírals niður á við, í ákveðið sjálfskaparvíti. Hann trúir að heimurinn útvegi honum allt upp í hendurnar og horfir fram á við í blindni fyrir afleiðingum.
Á tónleikunum verður varningur til sölu og verður hægt að forpanta
vínyl af "The Fool" sem að hljómsveitin mun fá
afhent í lok júní og mun persónulega keyra út til kaupenda.

On June 12th, indie/alternative band Flesh Machine will hold a release concert in the main hall of Tónabíó to celebrate their first album, The Fool.
The band has been playing all over Reykjavík in recent years and have been recognized as the most exciting live music performance to come out of the country's music scene in recent years. Now the band is celebrating the release of their first album in style with an added band to make the evening even more memorable.
They will be joined by post-punk band BKPM and dance pop duo Kusk og Óviti to warm up the stage.
Doors open at 7:00 PM
Concert starts at 8:00 PM
Concert ends at 11:00 PM
The album The Fool delves into the life of an individual in the prime of life who is constantly facing his own obstacles as he tries to move forward in life. Repeated bad decisions and irresponsibility lead to a downward spiral, a certain self-inflicted death. He believes that the world is providing everything for him and looks ahead blindly to the consequences.
Merchandise will be for sale at the concert and it will be possible to pre-order a vinyl of "The Fool", which the band will receive at the end of June and will personally drive out to buyers.
