Join us for what may be (we haven’t checked! J) the world’s first legal literary festival! And it’s free!

This Autumn, 3 November 2026, we will be celebrating legal scholarship and writing all day at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at 67-69 Lincoln’s Inn Fields WC2A 3JB, home of FIVE LEAF Institute for Law and Aesthetics. There will be 5 floors of events all day! And so many things to see and do throughout the Festival.

Authors

If you have had a book or edited collection published in any area of law since 1 January 2024, then we would love to hear from you. Please email us by 1 September 2026 with your title, affiliation, publisher, date of publication and brief outline. We will be reviewing all submissions and we will contact all featured authors by 15 September 2026.

PhD Researchers

If you are a PhD researcher and would like to present your project, we are featuring posters as well as PhD sprints (a 3-minute presentation). Please email us with your PhD project title and outline, institution, and year of project by 1 September 2026. We will contact all successful applicants by 15 September 2026.

The Festival Market

Are you a local maker or purveyor of all things wonderful about writing? We will be hosting the FIVE LEAF Festival Market selling stationery, crafts and more. There is no charge to have a stall, but places are limited. If you would like to be featured, please email us with details of your proposed stall by 1 September 2026. We will be confirming all stall holders by 15 September 2026.

Charity Book Drive

The FIVE LEAF Festival charity book drive will be collecting law books for charity. If you have some law books to donate, please bring them along on the day!

So join us for the first FIVE LEAF Festival and celebrate authorship! It promises to be a very busy and very literary day!
