London RISE Open Education Fortnight: Encore Session 1

Join us to explore how we create the best possible start in life for our youngest learners through purposeful continuous provision and intentional, high-quality adult interactions.

This session will provide an opportunity to see how thoughtfully designed learning environments promote independence, curiosity, communication and sustained engagement. Visitors will observe how continuous provision is carefully planned to build children's knowledge, language and confidence while supporting the characteristics of effective learning.

Alongside learning walks through our Early Years environment, we will focus on the vital role of adults in extending children's thinking. Through responsive interactions, skillful questioning and well-timed interventions, our practitioners nurture language development, deepen learning and foster positive relationships that enable every child to thrive.

There will be opportunities to discuss our approach to planning, assessment and the balance between child-initiated and adult-led learning, as well as the practical strategies that underpin our provision.
