π₯ November Fire Circle β Preparing for Winter πEmbrace the darker months as a time of nourishment, wisdom, and rest.
As the wheel of the year turns toward winter, our ancestors gathered around the fire to share stories, give thanks for the harvest, and prepare for the quiet months ahead. In old Celtic traditions, this was a time for reflection, release, and deep regeneration. A reminder that rest is sacred, and that darkness too can be healing.
This final Fire Circle of the year invites you to do the same: to slow down, reconnect, and kindle your inner light as the nights draw in.
β¨ The Evening
Join us under the stars for an intimate evening of connection, warmth, and reflection, bringing together gentle ancestral practices to support our modern lives. Especially through the challenges of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and the shifting energies of the season.
Weβll gather in community to share and reflect, weaving together:
π Gentle meditation β grounding into stillness
π₯ Drum-guided journey β calling on ancestral wisdom and intuition
π₯ Fireside reflection β stories, sharing, and simple presence beneath the protective oak
A nourishing space to prepare our hearts and minds for winterβs quiet rest, reconnecting to the cycles that have always guided human life.
π³ About the Fire Circles
Our Monthly Fire Circles for Adults (18+) each explore a different theme from bushcraft and survival skills to creative and nature connection practices.
Theyβre designed to help you unwind, recharge, and re-root yourself through nature, community, and hands-on activities inspired by the rhythms of the land.
The Walk In
Weβll begin with a gentle lantern lit, walk of just under a mile from the Broompark Picnic Area, following an easy flat path through autumn hedgerows still holding the last fruits of the season.
Arriving at Abundant Earth, we gather beneath a majestic oak, open to the sky, and settle around the hearth of the fire.
