Yule – Durham Pagan MootSocial Gathering
Come along and meet other like-minded people for our Yule Moot!
There’s no set topic for this one — just a relaxed evening of good company, conversation, and festive cheer and a chat about what topics people would like for next year.
We’ll be doing a Yule Lucky Dip, so if you’d like to take part (no pressure!), please bring a small, wrapped gift worth around £2 or less to pop into the bag. Later in the evening, we’ll pass it around so everyone can take home a little surprise.
One of the gifts I’ll be adding is a bundle of tea lights — ill buy a pack of 50 for £2.50, split into 12 small presents. Other ideas include pens, erasers, incense, crafty, witchy, pagan things, sweets (please no peanuts), or any other small treat, It’s all just for a bit of fun!
We may even have a little live music, and of course plenty of time to chill, chat, and enjoy the evening together.

Founded in 2022, Durham Pagan Moot is a friendly, relaxed social evening for like-minded folk from a variety of Pagan paths. We’re a welcoming bunch — everyone’s invited, whatever your background, experience, or tradition.
Each month we usually host a short talk or workshop. Past topics have included The Rollright Stones, Werewolf Cults, The Origins of Wicca, An Overview of Tarot, Divination, Freemasonry, Doreen Valiente, the Ogham, Heathenry, Meditation and so much more.
