Course Description
Finding Your Yoga is a four-week course created for anyone who has ever wondered what the different styles of yoga actually are, and how to choose the right practice for their body, nervous system and stage of life. At its heart, this course is about building a personal yoga toolbox, so you can recognise which practices support you best at different times.
Each 90-minute session focuses on one style of yoga, Restorative, Yin, Hatha and Vinyasa, offering both lived experience and clear explanation. These sessions are not rushed classes. They are spacious, informative and grounding, allowing time to practise, pause, ask questions and understand why each style exists.
Alongside gentle, accessible movement, each week includes an introduction to the history and intention of the style, what it is designed to support, and common misconceptions that often stop people from trying something new. This course is about removing confusion and helping you feel confident, informed and at home in your yoga practice. Yoga is not one fixed thing. It is a collection of tools that meet us differently through changing seasons, injuries, fatigue, grief, growth and transformation.
Whether you are new to yoga, returning after time away, or have been practising for years but feel unsure which classes truly serve you, this course offers a supportive way to explore and reconnect.
What to Expect

Weekly Themes
Week 1: Restorative Yoga
Deep rest, nervous system regulation and supported stillness. Learn why Restorative yoga exists and how it supports healing, burnout and stress recovery.
Week 2: Yin Yoga
Slow, sustained postures that work with fascia and joint health. Explore the difference between Yin and other styles, and why stillness can feel so challenging yet so nourishing.
Week 3: Hatha Yoga
A balanced, steady practice that forms the foundation of many modern classes. Understand what Hatha really means and why it remains such a powerful and adaptable style.
Week 4: Vinyasa Yoga
Flowing movement linked with breath. Learn how Vinyasa developed, what makes a class supportive rather than exhausting, and how to approach flow with awareness rather than pressure.
