Are you caring for a person with dementia and looking for practical support?Join us for the Family Caregiver Boot Camp—a hands-on, hope-filled workshop designed just for you!
This event is packed with real-life demonstrations, expert guidance, and a supportive community of caregivers who “get it.” Walk away with new skills you can use at home tonight, fresh encouragement, and the confidence you deserve for the journey ahead.
What You’ll Learn
- Changing a Person in Bed & Brief Hacks: Learn how to safely change your person and put a brief on without removing pants—skills you can actually use!
- Shower Techniques: Creative ways to make bathing less stressful and more dignified.
- Meal Time Support: Practical strategies for encouraging eating and drinking.
All topics are hands-on and taught by dementia trained healthcare professionals and Joanna LaFleur, national dementia educator and founder of Memory Lane Foundation.
