Learn about the wet meadows and rain gardens found within Buhr Park that are helping slow, soak and spread-out stormwater—all with the goal of keeping our rivers clean. Park in the northernmost parking lot and meet at the entrance to the ice arena and pool building. You'll learn about the history of Buhr Park and how an active group of neighbors have been changing the landscape.
This event will be led by Catie Wytychak from the Water Resources Commissioner’s Office in coordination with the Children's Wet Meadow Project, Wild Ones, local Master Gardeners, Seeds to Community and the Ann Arbor District Library. Funding is provided in part by Systems Planning and Parks & Recreation, City of Ann Arbor.
