Need help getting started with your DSLR or Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera? This is the perfect class for getting started.

The presenter, George Borel, will cover the basics of digital photography, helping you to understand the physics of photography, so you can start taking more control of your photos. He will also offer some strategies to increase the quality of your everyday photos with some great photo tips.

Some of the topics that are covered:

- Getting the most out of the automatic modes

- Taking control of exposure (Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO)

- Depth of Field

- White Balance

- Accessories to Improve your Capabilities

Yes, we have limited seating, so pre-registration is required. Class costs $40. If you have purchased a camera or lens with us within the last year, you are welcome to select "Free Entry."

• We will provide a pen and printout of the PowerPoint slides for you to take notes on. You will be able to take the PowerPoint notes home.
• If you'd like to write down any questions you have, you're welcome to bring those with you. We will do our best to get to as many as your questions as we can.
• You're also welcome to bring your camera. While this class is more lecture-style, it can be helpful to follow along with your camera, and it can sometimes be helpful to have your camera when asking questions. We also will offer specials on equipment following class--it may be easier to find accessories specific to your camera if you have it along.
