Fall Cloverbuds (4-H program for ages 5-7)
About this Event
Cloverbuds is a special 4-H program for youth aged 5-7 and their parents! We will meet for one hour from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on three Thursdays in November. Cloverbuds will meet on November 5, 12, and 19. A parent is required to attend with their kiddos so that we can offer this program to more kids. Our fall registration fee is $10 and that covers all three programs!
Each week will have a theme ---
November 5 --- Weather Fun
We will explore how weather works by making clouds in a jar, tornadoes, rain paint, making our own paper thermometers, and everyone will go home with a book about lightning!
November 12 --- Celebrations around the World
We will explore a global map, what different flags look like, learn about a few new celebrations from other countries, and have family story time with books about different celebrations that you get to take home!
November 19 --- Building Bridges
We will learn about bridges, specifically the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. We will learn about how bridges need and then visit our new 4-H Makerspace to find materials to build our own bridges and test them out! Everyone will get a book about the Golden Gate Bridge to take home!
