Dawgs, Paws, & Applause!
We’ve got dawgs, we’ve got paws, we’ve got hot dogs, and we’ve got plenty of reasons to celebrate!
Join Sarge’s and the Waynesville Elks Lodge on Saturday, November 7, from 11 AM to 4 PM for a special community adoption event with good food, great pets, and a little extra appreciation for the people who make rescue happen.
🌭 Come grab a hot dog! The Waynesville Elks Lodge is providing complimentary hot dogs, so stop by, grab a bite, and enjoy some time with our Sarge’s crew.
🐶 Come meet your new best friend! Our adoptable dogs and cats are ready to meet their people. Whether you’re looking for a walking buddy, a couch companion, or a tiny supervisor for your daily activities, we might have just the pet for you. No appointment needed, and adoptions are first come, first served.
🎁 Come celebrate our shelter staff! November 7 also marks the final day of Shelter Staff Appreciation Week! Our team spends their days caring for animals, celebrating adoptions, navigating the hard moments, and doing all the little things that keep rescue moving. If you’d like to drop off a card, treats, snacks, or another goodie to show our staff some love, we’d be thrilled to see you!
And a big round of applause for the Waynesville Elks Lodge! Their generous sponsorship is helping make this event special, including sending adopted pets home with goodies of their own: food, treats, toys, and other essentials to help them settle into their new homes.
Whether you come to adopt, grab lunch, celebrate our staff, or simply spend a little time with us, there’s a place for you at Dawgs, Paws, & Applause!
