About this Event

Externalisation of Internalisation is a two-hour creative workshop taking place within Dhaga's exhibition, (be)longing. Beginning with a guided prompt that invites you to return to your internal structures of belonging and being, the session offers 45 minutes of uninterrupted free-writing, drawing & doodling to explore what surfaces. The experience concludes with a sharing circle, creating space for reflection, listening, and connection.

Who is it for:

• This workshop is for Queer and Trans+ South Asian participants.
• We welcome anyone of South Asian or mixed South Asian heritage, living within the South Asian diaspora and who identify as LGBTQ+ or is questioning their identity.
• Any homophobia, transphobia, racism or ableism will not be tolerated.

Skill level:

• No writing or artistic experience is needed.

Materials:

• All materials will be provided

What to expect:

• A safe, welcoming and creative space to be yourself and connect with community
• A low pressure environment, come as you are!
