Day 1: Animal Nutrition You’ll get hands-on preparing food for a range of reptiles and invertebrates. You’ll learn basic kitchen skills, safe food handling, and what different animals need to stay healthy.

Day 2: Animal Health Discover why routine health checks are important. You’ll even get the chance to do a simple, supervised check on a real animal, helping you build confidence and understanding of animal wellbeing.

Day 3: Animal Welfare Learn about the Five Animal Welfare Needs and get creative by designing and making an enrichment item for one of our animals or even for your own pets at home. This session encourages creativity and empathy.

Day 4: Animal Housing and Accommodation Design and build a mini animal habitat using materials suitable for the species you’re working with. You’ll develop problem-solving skills and learn how to meet animals’ environmental needs.
