About this Event
Satsang Series: What Does Yoga Say About…?
A 3-part series of spiritual discussion and embodied yoga practice
Join us for a nourishing exploration of yogic wisdom through the lens of Vedic philosophy, astrology, and yogic texts—paired with meditation, breathwork, and gentle embodied rituals.
Each monthly Thursday night session begins with spiritual teachings rooted in texts like the Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads, then transitions into an accessible guided practice to integrate what you’ve learned on a deeper level.
✨ July 17 – Listening Within: Self-inquiry, inner guidance & the seat of the Self
In this gathering, we’ll explore teachings from the Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads about self-inquiry, discernment, and the true nature of the Self beyond ego.
This spiritual discussion will be complemented with a meditation practice focused on cultivating inner steadiness and connection with your inner guidance — an embodied journey to establish this seat of calm guidance within.
✨ August 14 – Finding Your Path (Without Force): Dhārma, flow & authentic leadership
Building on our inner work from July, learn about the Vedic teachings on Dhārma as a fluid, soulful alignment rather than obligation. We’ll dive into how to embody Self-leadership in modern life, navigating transformation with grace and authenticity, supported by teachings from the Bhagavad Gita and the energy of the Ganapati season.
Followed by a guided pranayama (breathwork) and meditation practice that invites you to connect deeply with your unique dhārma, release ego-driven resistance, and commit to living in flow.
✨ September 18 – Sacred Responsibility: Seva, discernment & showing up with love
As we move from soul-aligned direction (August) into meaningful embodiment (September), this satsang explores what it means to show up — for ourselves, others, and the greater whole — in ways that are honest, sustainable, and meaningful. We’ll draw from Vedic and Yogic wisdom on seva (selfless service), viveka (discernment), and how to act from the Self, not the ego or people-pleasing.
In this month of refinement (Virgo), we’ll reflect on what we are truly here to tend to in the next season, followed by a gentle embodied ritual + breath meditation that supports releasing perfectionism, calling in loving discipline, and reconnecting to a heart-centered path of service.
Come for meaningful conversation, stay for the grounding practices and shared community. Tea will be provided at 6:45pm. Doors will close at 7pm and we'll wrap up just before 8:30pm!
