Nevada Outdoor School’s Nature Explorers Day Camps offer young adventurers ages 8–10 a fun, hands-on introduction to the outdoors! Each camp is designed to spark curiosity, build outdoor skills, and encourage exploration in a safe and engaging environment.Campers will meet at a local park before heading out to explore nearby natural areas, where they’ll hike trails, observe wildlife, discover local plants, and engage in games and activities that teach teamwork, creativity, and environmental stewardship. Activities may include scavenger hunts, nature journaling, interactive group games, and hands-on learning experiences tailored to each location.
Whether exploring a canyon, marsh, caves, or other Nevada landscapes, Nature Explorers Day Camps provide young campers with the opportunity to connect with nature, learn new skills, and make lasting memories in the great outdoors.
