DJ Shakti Rising, aka Sitara, originally from Portland, Oregon, birthed and produced the wonderful Unity Ecstatic Dance in Ashland for 4.5 years. Sitara has been a dancer since she can remember & has been devoted to music and dance for the last 25+ years. She has been in the worldwide network of Ecstatic Dance for over 16 years, a foundational practice for her self care, personal growth, transformations and fulfillment.
Shakti Rising weaves a diverse full spectrum journey of yummy, conscious, fun, sexy, activating High Vibe & Next Level musical musings ~ Tribal & World Beats/Bass, Temple/Medicine Bass, Trap, Organic infused Electronic, sacred soundscapes & elemental infusions to Initiate opening, release, healing, expansion, inspiration, playfulness, transmutation of dense energy and ultimately transcending into heart opening realms of blissfull ecstatic liberation.
