Jayne & Marie warmly invite you to EarthDance in The Woodland - a little slice of Paradise on Earth! EarthDance is a 3 hour immersive experience rewilding you back with Mother Nature through Nature Immersion, Cacao, Collective Sound, Freeflow Ecstatic Dance with silent disco headsets & community fire circle.
We believe the simplicity of life is where the joy & magic is. Reconnecting with our forgotten Medicine of nature, sound, song, dance & community. In many other cultures around the Earth this medicine is still very much alive & thriving! These practices are a natural yet profound antidote to screens, stress, loneliness, poor health, toxicity & our busy, modern lives. The Earth is calling us back into right relationship with her...

Nature Immersion & Mindfulness:
We spend so much of our time living in our busy, overthinking minds, worrying about our past or future, planning, doing, striving, trying! We miss the GOODNESS & THE GOLD of the present. NOW is all we really, truly have. We provide the tools and space for you to step out of distraction and drop into the beauty and potency of the living moment with whatever is showing up for you, without trying to force or control your state. Held by the Earth, supported by the trees, elementals, plants and animals kingdoms (including Jaynes 2 wise therapy horses) We may use a variety of meditation, sound, silence, senses & embodiment practices to access the magic of each unfolding moment. Experiencing all that is there to be felt, seen, heard & witnessed.
Cacao Ceremony:
Our Cacao Ceremony is a beautiful opportunity to connect with yourself on a deeper level and with those sharing the ceremony journey along side you. An opportunity to set new intentions and call in your hearts desires. The cacao offers great insights, creativity and inspiration. It is also well known for its heart opening properties, mood-boosting effects & is packed full of vitamins & minerals.
Ecstatic Dance:
Connect to the music & your body & dance in any way that feels right for you. We use state of the art, comfy silent disco headphones for a deep, immersive experience. We start slowly to stretch & tune in with the support of gentle somatic guidance. The sound wave gradually builds to help you loosen & let go. After an exhilarating, high energy peak we gradually come down onto the Earth for a guided cool down, relaxation & listening to the soothing sounds of nature.
Marie curates a wave of dance music that is soothing, earthy, tribal, heart opening & fun!
We dance to express, not impress! Dance shyly, mildly or wildly. Self consciousness is normal and welcome. Prance around like a loon or sit n sway through the whole dance. You do you. No judgement. No rules. No right or wrong. No pretence. No hierarchy. No comparison. No dance police!
Fire circle gathering:
A time to share, listen, make wishes, release burdens to the fire, sing, sound, drum, connect in companionship & community. Make new friends & deepen existing bonds. A variety of hot & cold drinks are available in the Woodland Cabin for you to help yourself.
Who is this for?
EarthDance is an inclusive life practice for ALL ages, sizes, genders & fitness levels. We require absolutely no experience and you do not have to be a ‘dancer’. For those yearning to feel healthier in mind & body. For those who love music & nature. For those who miss their dancing days. For those seeking community & a sense of belonging.
Each person comes for different reasons, but all receive so much more than they came for.

About Marie and The Dance Sanctuary:
For the past 10 years, The Dance Sanctuary has helped hundreds of dancing humans find physical & emotional FREEDOM on the dance floor. Marie, Founder of The Dance Sanctuary & experienced Somatic Movement teacher, has an innate skill of making you feel welcome, at ease & safe to move through any fears and blocks you may experience.
When she left the NHS as a Cancer Treatment Specialist, she made a promise that she would one day serve the world with offerings that prevented long-term stress & dis-ease. She went on to become a Master Reiki practitioner for several years, and now devotes all her time to The Dance Sanctuary. Her knowledge of the human body, energy body & psyche provide a truly holistic approach to health & wellbeing. Marie shares...

About Jayne & The Woodland:
Jayne is the founder & custodian of the sacred safe space that is The woodland. Jayne holds the space with her beautiful therapy horses to help people learn how to become the happiest, healthiest version of themself. Combining holistic practices, horses and nature immersion, people remember who they truly are.
The beautiful woodland area offers space, freedom, connection to nature, peace, and seclusion for each personal healing journey to unfold & flourish.
