Join Green Cambridge for our 2nd day of free educational Earth Week events with a Invasive Plant Walk through the Alewife!
About this Event

On Tuesday, April 21st Green Cambridge will be hosting an Invasive Plant species ID and monitoring walk in the Alewife Brook Reservation.

We will be leading volunteers on an invasive ID walk around the Alewife and instructing on how to record and map invasive plant populations using the Invasive Flora Patrol created by EarthWiseAware through the Anecdata app.

Invasive plant species are extremely prevalent in the Alewife and outcompete native biodiversity, thus disrupting many vital ecological systems within the Alewife. These events not only help spread awareness on this issue but also provide the foundation for invasive plant removal efforts.

Click HERE for instructions on how to download the Anecdata and PictureThis plant ID app.
