Earth Week: E- birding in the Alewife Brook Reservation

Green Cambridge is holding a guided walk in the Alewife Brook reservation using Cornell University's E-bird, this project lets birders from around the globe submit observations that help track migration and inform conservation efforts.

Event Details:

• Event: E-birding in the Alewife Reservation
• Location: DCR Parking lot, 2-8 Acorn Park Dr, Cambridge, MA 02140
• Date: April 23rd , 2026 from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM(Eastern Time)

We will also be using Cornell's Merlin Bird ID app to identify species. Instructions on how to use both apps will be provided but we encourage volunteers to download the apps beforehand and look over the provided instructions below! (E-bird in particular has a very informative introduction guide on submitting observations.)
