invites you to join award-winning author and historian for a free walking tour exploring the entertainment history of Granville Street.
From vaudeville to blues, punk rock to EDM, Granville Street has long been the heart of Vancouver's nightlife. Discover the stories behind iconic venues like the Commodore Ballroom, the Orpheum, and the Vogue Theatre, revisit the days of Theatre Row, and learn how the street has evolved over the decades.
The tour begins behind Vancouver City Centre SkyTrain Station and lasts approximately 90 minutes, rain or shine. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water if the weather is warm.
Tour Dates: August 9th, 15th, 23rd, and 30th from 2:00-3:30 PM
