About this Event

From Ashes to Glass: The Overview of Vancouver's History

This introductory tour will give you a foundation in Vancouver’s history, tracing the city’s growth from the charming buildings of frontier-era Gastown to the ambitious visions of the later 20th century. The tour lasts approximately 105 minutes. Will cover roughly 2.5km.

All ages are welcome. Please note that the route includes hills, stairs, and uneven surfaces, and unfortunately is not fully accessible for those with mobility limitations.

In the event of poor weather, a cancellation notice will be sent at least 24 hours in advance. Tour will begin at 200 Granville Plaza outside the West Entrance to Waterfront Station. Tour will end in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery near Robson Square. Look for Max holding the large stick!
