About this Event
(FBC) is dedicated to promoting inclusivity & safety in birding for everyone especially LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC & disabled folks and women.
Join FBC Chicago for an evening bird outing at Douglass Park looking for spring migration birds like warblers, thrushes, and water birds. We'll start at 6:30 pm and last until around 8:30 pm.
No prior experience with birdwatching is required. This is a beginner friendly event and organization. Families are also welcome to join (children do not need to RSVP). Binoculars will be available for loan upon request.
What to expect: We'll be meeting in the parking lot by the Douglass Park pool here before heading along the trail around the lagoon. The trail is mostly paved or mulched and is about a mile long.
Questions? Please email [email protected].
Getting there: Douglass Park is served by the 12 bus, the 94 bus, and has a designated parking lot near the Douglass Park Cultural Center and Douglass Park Pool.
