World Migratory Bird Day at Rainbow Beach Park

(FBC) is dedicated to promoting inclusivity & safety in birding for everyone especially LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC & disabled folks and women.

Join Feminist Bird Club Chicago at Rainbow Beach Park in celebration of World Migratory Bird Day. We will observe birds visiting Chicago during spring migration, taking the time to observe all the birds present. Beginners and families welcome, paid parking lot, registration required. Loaner binoculars available.

No prior experience with birdwatching is required. This is a beginner friendly event and organization. Families are also welcome to join (children do not need to RSVP). Binoculars will be available for loan upon request.

Getting There: Free parking is available on S Farragat Drive. Rainbow Beach Park is accessible by public transit via the #6 and #79 CTA buses. For directions using public transportation visit www.transitchicago.com. Exact meeting point will be shared with registered attendees.

Dress: Please dress in comfortable weather appropriate clothing, layers are recommended as the park is particularly exposed to lakefront winds. Sun protection is necessary in the summer as there is little tree cover.
