Discussion Over Division: The Election

Program Overview:

The purposes of the program are to:

• Bring people of different beliefs together, amidst what is often a very divisive and partisan world.
• Foster an appreciation of diversity and inclusion.
• Help hone the oral advocacy and listening skills of future attorneys.
• Foster leaders who model civil discourse, collaboration, and an appreciation of diversity.

How it works:

• You will be placed into small groups or pairs based on how you self-identify ideologically, with the idea of having a range of viewpoints and beliefs represented.
• A conversation guide will be provided to help start your conversation and keep it going; however, you are welcome to stray from it if that is where your conversation leads.
