The Event: Demati's Yoga + Social
Demati creates intimate, community-centered wellness experiences rooted in presence, care, and connection. This experience is designed for people who are curious about slowing down. Whether you’re new to yoga, returning after time away, or simply looking for a more grounded way to connect with others.
Join as a drop-in for one of Demati's programs, "Yoga + Social." You’ll leave feeling calmer in your body, clearer in your mind, and more connected to yourself and to others. Many people begin their journey with Demati through a Yoga + Social before joining our broader community.
Experience a 45 minute all levels flow, followed by intentional conversation and refreshments into the evening at the beautiful Mindspace DC location, or when the weather is right, the building's rooftop! ($45 value)
This Theme: Protection & Immunity
February at Demati is about Protection & Immunity. It is an invitation to strengthen what supports us and soften what drains us.
We invite ourselves in February to listen to the body’s signals and respond with care. At Demati, we believe that protection is about devotion. Immunity lives not only in our bodies, it also lives in our boundaries, our rhythms, and our relationships.
Our month’s theme of Protection & Immunity explores how we build resilience through everyday rituals: how we nourish ourselves, how we rest, and how we say “yes” and “no.”
As a community, we will use our yoga practices, intentional conversations, and herbal wisdom to reconnect with our innate ability to heal and self-regulate.
This month, allow yourself to strengthen gently. Protection can be soft. Immunity can be cultivated.

Sharing is always optional. You’re welcome to simply listen.
Building Trust With Your Inner Wisdom
- What signals has your body been sending you lately?
- When you feel run down, what do you tend to ignore?
- What helps you feel regulated and calm?
- How can you respond with care instead of pushing through?
