Take a romantic culinary journey to the heart of Italy with our Date Night: From Venice with Love cooking class. In this hands-on experience, you and your partner will learn to prepare a delicious Venetian-inspired dinner, featuring fresh Lamb Polpette and rich, flavorful risotto. Our expert chef will guide you through each step, sharing tips and techniques to recreate the authentic tastes of Venice in your own kitchen, this class is the perfect way to bond over exquisite food and celebrate love with an unforgettable Italian twist.

1. Lamb and Pistachio Polpette
2. Risotto al Nero di Seppia - Squid Ink Risotto
3. Yogurt Panna Cotta with Honey and Blackberries
   

Suggested Wine Pairing - Bring your own wine!

White Wine – Verdicchio

• A crisp Italian white wine with citrus and herbal notes, perfectly balancing the richness of the squid ink risotto and complementing the tangy yogurt panna cotta.

Red Wine – Chianti Classico

• A medium-bodied red with bright acidity and red fruit flavors that enhance the savory lamb and pistachio polpette while standing up to the rich risotto.

What to Expect:

• You'll partner with other students in groups of four, sharing workstations and culinary equipment.

• Classes typically run for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise indicated.

• Our hands-on classes maintain a cozy size, accommodating 12-20 students, in Shed 5 at Eastern Market

• Be prepared for an active session, as you'll be on your feet, cooking, and fully engaged for the majority of the class.

• For your comfort and safety, we recommend wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes and securing long hair away from your face.

• Evelyn’s Midtown Kitchen is committed to maintaining common sanitation standards, and for this reason, you may be asked to wash your hands multiple times to contribute to the safety of food handling.
