Dark Chester : A Guided Walk

Dark Chester is a storytelling walking tour led by Green Badge Tourist Guide David Atkinson, delving into the shadows of Chester's rich heritage to explore the stories history doesn't always like to tell.

Think spooky stories, horrible histories and dark-tourism heritage, drawing on David's book A Dark History of Chester. A winner of Tourism Experience of the Year at the Marketing Cheshire Awards, Dark Chester has earned its reputation as one of the city's most compelling guided experiences.

David will also be leading a special storytelling evening at The Albion on Monday 1st June at 7.30pm — an unmissable night of dark tales in one of Chester's most atmospheric settings. The Albion will be open from 5.30pm for bar meals and drinks.
