DAC Conference 2026

A conference for people professionally engage with Church of England church buildings, in particular at diocesan and national level.
About this Event

The programme will follow the now-established format with the annual meeting for DACs on Tuesday afternoon, and will continue the practice of parallel sessions for DAC chairs, secretaries, support officers, and pastoral and closed church roles. Visits will include the works on-site at St Michael le Belfrey, St Lawrence’s church and Holy Trinity Goodramgate. At Goodramgate the Revd Canon Tim Goode will speak about access in a church where its access challenges enable a fresh approach to how a complex building was experienced. We will learn about managing the major project at St Michael le Belfrey and spend time in All Saints, North Street, with its conserved medieval glass.
