MUSIC:
Zemroy Thomas, better known by his stage name Da Fuchaman, is an internationally renowned Jamaican reggae singer, songwriter and member of the Rastafari movement. Da Fuchaman’s music is deeply rooted in spirituality and he prides himself on spreading love and positive vibrations to the masses everywhere that he goes. Growing up in rural Middle Buxton on the north coast of St Ann Jamaica, he started singing in churches and school. With his increasing credibility in his community and the surrounding areas, he started gaining notoriety, winning multiple competitions performing with Local Sound Systems.
Da Fuchaman migrated to the UK in the summer of 2002 and it didn't take long before he started making waves in the UK music scene. Alongside his high-energy stage performances throughout the UK and Europe, he has amassed nine studio albums, with a tenth in the works, and an even larger catalogue of EP's, collaborating with Titans of the Reggae scene; Anthony B, General Levy, Queen Omega, Lutan Fyah, Turbulence The Future and Tippa Irie, but to name a few. In October 2024 Da Fuchaman collaborated with Little Lion Sound on the track Feeling Irie which was released by Evidence Records. The song was greatly received by the audience and amassed over 7.5 million views collectively on social media in less than two weeks of release.
In 2016 he formed his live band, Da Fuchaman and his Fire Blaze Band, elevating him to new heights. He and his ten-piece collective have been taking the festival scene by storm; headlining Bristol Harbourside Festival, Bournemouth Reggae Weekender and Inglefest and performing at a diverse range of festivals including Zwarte Cross (NL), Boomtown Fair, Secret Garden Party, Tropical Pressure, Kendal Calling, Greenman, Forwards Festival, Valley Fest, Moovin Festival, Riddim and Reggae Festival & Falmouth Reggae Festival and many more. With his infectious optimism and electric energy, if you too live for spre- ading love and positive vibrations, whether a reggae fan or not, you don't need to look much further than Da Fuchaman and his Fire Blaze Band.
