CWGC Tours 2026 - Beverley (St Nicholas) Cemetery

Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of Beverley (St Nicholas) Cemetery, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.

MEETING POINT is at the rear of the church in the cemetery.

St. Nicholas's churchyard has 5 Commonwealth War Graves within it's boundary. It also contains 2 private memorials that are monitor by the CWGC, one of these commemorates an Australian soldier who was awarded the Military Medal. Why is he buried in Beverley? The tour lasts approx. 90 mins and covers about 300 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground.

Parking is available nearby. There are on-site facilities and toilets. Please bring water if required.

Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.

Only assistance dogs are allowed in the cemetery.

Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can, but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
