As the Bible makes clear, each of us lives between the two comings of Christ: the first to die and rise for our salvation; the second to return and bring us home to dwell with him. All of our reality is strung between those two cosmic world events. And yet while we live in these last days, what kind of life does that leave us to live? How do we make sense of that tension in our experience of work or study, or in how we make decisions for the future? How do the last days account for our experience of pain, or frustration–or even the parts of life that are still good? More importantly, what will it actually look like when all is said and done?
