Lana from Plant Based Treaty at Perth Vegan Expo 2025. Lana is an engineer specialising in greenhouse gas emissions accounting and sustainability disclosures. Her passion for sustainability and climate action led her to adopt a plant-based lifestyle in 2016 after learning about the environmental impact of animal agriculture. She then went vegan for the animals after watching farm and slaughterhouse footage.
After growing up in Perth, Lana moved to London in 2022. She was inspired to become an activist after meeting Joey Carbstrong, Earthling Ed and many other prominent activists based in the UK. She participated in activism with We The Free and Plant Based Treaty in London. In January 2025, Lana moved back to Perth and she is here today to speak about how we can build the Plant Based Treaty movement here in Western Australia.
Lana's presentation is titled 'Plant Based Treaty: How we can grow the plant-based movement in Perth through collaboration with government, businesses, and communities.'.
