Creative Crumbs in Motion - A 3 Day Animation Workshop

Welcome to Creative Crumbs In Motion — a hands-on 3 day animation workshop where we mix crazy ideas, doodles and scribbles and bring them to life.

Over three fun-filled days, we'll dream up wonderfully weird ideas and transform them into our very own stop-motion movies.

Together we'll:

● Fill some pages with doodles, silly ideas and creative nonsense.

● Design and build unique characters from clay, paper and all sorts of crafty materials.

● Create storyboards and plan our movie scenes.

● Build miniature sets and props for our characters to explore.

● Learn the magic of stop-motion animation and bring everything to life, one frame at a time.

By the end of the workshop, every animator will head home with their own original stop-motion film and a brilliantly bonkers character to be proud of.

Tablets and phones will be used to animate, with the free app Stop Motion Studio.

If your child has access to a device with the app installed, please bring it along — they’ll be able to continue animating at home afterwards. If not, no problem at all, everything needed will be provided!

During the workshop, we may take photos and short videos to showcase the children’s work and share highlights from the day. Please let us know if you give us your consent. There’s also an opt-out option available after checkout.

Info: Each day we'll meet at 10:00am at The Foundry reception, before heading up to our airconditioned animation studio.
We'll take plenty of short breaks throughout the day, with a longer lunch break around 12:30pm, so please remember to bring a packed lunch.
At 3:00pm, our young filmmakers will be ready for pick-up—with another day of creativity under their belts!
