Crafty Picnic Day with GTA Craft Club
About this Event
If you're in Toronto and have been looking for a welcoming, artsy community, you’ve found your spot! We get together each month to be in community and enjoy our love of crafting while chatting and laughing together.
We will have tables set up outside for access purposes. We also invite you to bring a picnic blanket to craft on the grass if you would like! We will be setting up just outside the clubhouse, which attaches to Riverdale Park
With our events being $5, all those funds go towards supplies, snacks and drinks for the club. We will have lots of different collaging supplies for you all and a custom picnic scrap sheet.
Bring your collage supplies, stickers, glue, or any other ephemera or supplies you may want to use.
We have a shared ephemera table! Please feel free to bring any scraps or extra supplies you are not using to share with others :)
If the ticket fee is a barrier to you please reach out to us on Instagram @gtacraftclub and we will happily give you a ticket free of charge. We do not turn community away due to monetary reasons.
P.S. Although we have a theme of junk journaling, you are more than welcome to come into our space with your own art projects, to be in community! Don't feel pressured by the theme. Bring whatever you want to craft with!
