The Hughlene Bostian Frank Visiting Writers Series invites the public to a craft talk (a session where the author shares their advice with aspiring writers) and a reading by author Gary Wheeler on Appalachian State University's Boone campus on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
Wheeler will deliver the craft talk at 3:30 p.m. and the reading at 6 p.m. in Plemmons Student Union 201B (Table Rock). Both events are free and open to the public.
